Our foundation

Built on real mentorship and life skills

Founder’s Story Leon’s Legacy Builder was forged through lived experience, generational resilience, and an unwavering belief: no matter the trauma, poverty, or injustice, there is always another way forward. Founder Timothy N. White Jr. is the third generation of a family that transformed survival into purpose. His grandfather, Leon Moore, endured severe childhood abuse, a broken foster system, and a decade of wrongful imprisonment. He could have become bitter. Instead, he chose integrity, perseverance, and accountability — raising seven children alone after his wife’s passing. Every one of them became college-educated, breaking cycles that had persisted for generations. His daughter, Anna Moore-White, continued that legacy. Through leadership in retail and corporate America, she built an 11-year development program that created jobs, scholarships, and mentorship for underserved youth and families across inner-city communities. Watching his mother and grandfather dedicate their lives to uplifting others shaped Timothy’s purpose. His own path — through public service, law enforcement training, and direct work with abused youth — revealed a critical truth: vulnerable young people don’t lack intelligence or talent. They lack consistent support, trusted guidance, trauma-informed care, healing, and genuine opportunity.
